Two Modern Greats Share Silverston’s Magic!

Silverston race course is a fantastic ciruict that is steeped in Formula 1 history and legend. The home of Brittish motor sport is considered by many to also be the spiritual home of Formula 1. As the sport as developed over the past few years with an increased focus on exotic locations and attracting a worldwide audience. It is tracks like Yas Marina and Sakhir that have been attracting all the attention. Not always for the right reasons.

With that in mind it is refreshing for two of the sports finest exponents to take the time to explain why Silverston is special to them and indeed the sport as a whole. Hamilton and Button explain what this grand old circuit means to them, the history, the fans, the passion.

The video provides a fleeting insight into the minds of these elite sportsmen and the psychology behind home advantage and give us mere mortal a hint at what it must be like to compete in the worlds premier motor sport competition.
